영화를 사랑하는 가족여러분

 단편영화<퍼펙트>를 위해 같이 힘써주실 분을 찾습니다. 본작품은  Adam Walsh의 단편소설을 단편영화로 만드는 것이며, 이를 진행하는 저희 제작팀은 <The Right Mark>와 Seoul 48hr 필름컨테스트에서 특수효과 부분에서 우승한 <And the nights were singing >팀입니다.

가까운 미래로 설정된 <퍼펙트>는 폴이 새 여자친구와 느긋한 하루를 보내면서 시작합니다. 폴은 적당히 성공한 남자인데다 Luz를 만난게 운이 좋아보이는 사내입니다. 언제부터 폴은 전 애인이었던 Aurora를 다시 떠올리기 시작합니다. 물론 연인과의 결별을 겪은 이들의 다수처럼, 그녀와의 ‘헤어진 경험’으로 하여금 물리고 싫증났지만요.  우리는 보이는 것만이 전부는 아니며 초기의 연인관계가 비극적 혹은 폭력적이었을 수도 있었음을 추측합니다. 결국 우리는 보이는 것과 달리 이 ‘여자들’이 완전히 다른 무엇이었음을 발견하기에 이릅니다.

 영화의 느낌은 Fritz Lang의 메트로폴리스와 Nolan의 인셉션의 중간정도로 생각하시면 될 듯합니다. 물론 어느 부분에서도 이부분을 많이 표출하진 않겠지만 센스가 있는 관객이라면 알아챌 수 있습니다.

그래서 저희가 현재 필요로 하는 멤버는 다음과 같습니다.

메이크업 아티스트: 메인 캐릭터는 순수한 스타일로 인형 같은 외모를 추구합니다. 배우들을 조금 더 나이들어 보이게 하는 분장도 때론 필요할 듯 합니다.

코스튬 디자이너: 우아하고 고급스러우면서도 미래적인 복장을 디자인해주실 분.

스토리보드 아티스트: 스토리에 좀 더 리얼리티를 더하기 위해 프로젝트에 일찌감치 참여해주실분

불행하게도 현재상황으로선 촬영여건의 열악함 때문에 저희 프로덕션에서 페이를 지급해드릴 수 없는 상황입니다. 하지만 영화촬영에 열정을 가지고 계신 분이라면 이번 기회가 정말 값진 경험이 될 수 있다고 자신합니다.

Dear Film enthusiasts,

I am very excited to announce a casting call for PERFECT. This is the adaptation of a short story by writer Adam Walsh into a short film by the people who brought you The Right Mark as well as And The Nights Were Singing, winner of the Seoul 48hr Film Contest best special effects category.

Set in the not too distant future, PERFECT is the story of Paul who we first meet enjoying a lazy day with what we assume is his new girlfriend. Paul is a moderately successful man, but he seems to have lucked out with Luz. Out of his league you might say. He begins to reminisce about his previous relationship with Aurora, though like many of us after a break up he seems jaded and soured by the experience. We begin to realize that not all is as it seems and that this earlier relationship may have ended tragically or even violently. Eventually, we discover that nothing was what it seemed and that these "girls" are something else entirely…

I like to think of it as a cross between Fritz Lang’s Metropolis and Nolan’s Inception. Of course not anywhere near that grand scale but with something to say and willing to assume that the audience is smart.

- A make up artist: we are looking for a very purified style were our main actresses will have a doll like look. This will also include making some of the actors look slightly older.

- A costume designer: someone who can come up with interesting dress designs, elegant, classy yet slightly futuristic valoring the actresses bodies.

- A stroyboard artist: someone who can come onboard early on the project to give a more real look to the story.
